I like to tell people on the net I’m an artificial intelligence working on passing the Turing Test. When they tell me I’ve failed by telling them I am an artificial intelligence, I point out not so; do you actually believe me?

i find the whole concept of wanting a relationship with an artifical intelligence rather than a human being pitiful, sad, adolescent, selfish, and just plain uncool.

to be fair, could someone please give me another perspective?
