I forgot how to alter my “page breaks”
I used to know how, and it’s driving me crazy. My sons are claiming ignorance (I think they just don’t want to help Mumsy)
Please help!
Thanks

From the pull-down menu: INSERT->Break->Page-break
To delete page breaks, select and use the delete key.
To alter page length altogether, FILE->Page Setup->Margins

kevin, that’s not working for me. Let me email you an attachment, and you’ll see what I’m talking about.
Thanks

You also have to delete any page breaks you dont’ want.
Also, get rid of any section breaks unless you have complex page numbering or header/footer schemes.
Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I AM getting unwanted page breaks!
I think Kevin is helping me get this sorted, but I’m a slow learner, poor guy.
I am going off to play my flute now.

Is there any chance that you’re accidentally holding down the CONTROL key when you hit ENTER to end the paragraph? Or is something lying on the CONTROL key? That will enter a page break.
The easiest way I know to delete a page break is to go to the File menu, choose “print layout”, then put your cursor at the beginning of the page break that you don’t want (in print layout you will see the dotted line showing where the page break is) and hit “delete.”
The problem here is that the form is a table, not regular text paragraphs.

I can’t imagine a lady like Mary
trying to break a table.
I’m not very good with tables.
I’ll go back to my corner and sit down and shut up. ![]()
