I am clearing out my heaps of stuff and have a Hubert Kwisthout practice set in D to offer.
In fair condition considering I got in the early 1980’s. Went through several reeds and when I moved into the humid interior I quit playing.
Comes with new reed by Kirk Lynch, which needs fining out, so it would help if you can work on reeds, or know somebody who can.
Black wood ( looks to me like Ebony or similar ..hard as iron! ) chanter, synthetic bag, wooden bellows and strap.
Repairs; bust bag repaired.
Lost; some of the brass rings off of the gooseneck fittings, and the bag cover.
Hubert is a Northumbrian Pipe maker, in England, but also does other styles. This little set is a very nice catch for any student looking for a better quality instrument.
