Help wanted in Flute shop at Chicago area Renaissance Faire

I’m looking for someone (or two) to help out at my show at the Bristol Renaissance Faire (Chicago/Milwaukee area) this summer, weekends, July through August. You don’t have to be a virtuoso, (actually, I scare beginners away if I show off too much) just able to get a good tone, and be able to help folks with where to put their fingers, and how to blow, etc. Friendly and patient is the name of the game here, but it’s a fun summer job for the right person. (Travel to exotic locales! meet interesting people!)

If you are good at sales, you will make more as I pay a flat rate plus commission. You’ll also get break time to see the faire and shows, as well as have some fun. (You can also pick out flutes you like and keep them for yourself at a discount!).

… no portfolio necessary, just a basic knowledge of the simple system flute, (and perhaps a silly costume… I can set you up with something). I’ve had music education students work for me in the past, and this is a great summer job for those types.

Please email me at billymiller at swva dot net if you’re interested.
