I have Dylans Blood on the Tracks album and no turn table to play it on! I miss the old high quality stereos. They are still available new but price range puts them out of my reach.
Here is a Dylan question for you Dubhlin.I was wondering who wrote Subterranean Homesick Blues? I have The Best of Harry Nilsson cd that came with no liner notes. I know Dylan recorded it but I know Nilsson wrote alot of songs that others made into hits. I thought you might know as youre really into Dylan. Thanks

It is the opening track from “Bringing it all back Home” from 1967. Don’t confuse this album with the much later series of programs and CD’s about the influence of Irish music on American music also called “Bringing it all back Home”…
In a very early type of promotional video(long before videos !!) Dylan made a little movie of himself holding placards with various words from the song being displayed one after the other as the song itself played.The guy with the big bushy beard who walks across the shot towards the end is Allen Ginsberg,the famous American poet.
The Album also contains the original (and never improved on ) version of one of Dylans most poetic and celebrated songs “Mr.Tambourine Man.”

There are enough Teaser clips to send anyones Credit card into overdrive,I’m glad I already have all his Albums.
The discrepancy in the dates mentioned in our postings sent me scurrying to my bookshelf only to find that “Bringing it all back Home” was released in March 1965 and not 1967 as I posted. '67 is the date on the back of the CD I used for reference,must be a licence thing.
