A friend of mine is doing a history of Inagh Co Clare and I am helping with the trad music bit. Anyone got any info on Garret Barry, or other musicians or tunes from the Inagh area.
The only reason most people remember Garrett Barry now is through Willy Clancy’s efforts, so probably your best bet would be to start with books and stuff on him to find references back to Barry. Of course, the best references of all are probably in the Irish](http://www.itma.ie/%22%3EIrish) Traditional Music Archive, but you would have to travel to Dublin to see all the stuff they have there.
