FS: Sweetheart D flute in rosewood

Copied from my listing in the Used Instruments Exchange.

Bought new about 20 years ago (serial no.871), similar to the maple and cherry models shown on the Sweetheart site, but in rosewood as photographed here:

And played on this clip from my site.

Selling because the 37mm (centre-to-centre) L2 to L3 spacing’s never going to ‘work’ for my digitally-challenged left hand again now Dave Copley’s provided me with a custom solution (which we both hope to describe here sometime). Please note also that:

  1. The joint needs relapping with the current (last year’s) lapping having shrunk and started to rotate on the tenon, but I could do this (no guarantee of longevity!) for a buyer before shipping if requested.
  2. The embouchure hole’s quite small, but produces a good, full sound with appropriate control.

Asking £180 including UK postage, or please ask about postage elsewhere.
