The whistle (aluminum) is about one year old, in perfect condition, and has great tone and intonation. It has the extra feature of a C-note thumbhole (additional $10). I love these things–you can use them to make beautifully in-tune C-naturals plus cool ornaments – but if you don’t like them, you can just ignore them (or cover them up with tape).
