Up for sale a set of mint kilberry smallpipes in blackwood with nickel mounts. These pipes are awesome, but the reeds and bag from Kilberry didn’t really work well. So I had John Walsh throw a new synthetic bag into them and custom make some reeds and plastic stocks to prevent cracking.
They sound fantastic, why are they for sale? Because my hands are too big, the chanter is a bit bigger than a D smallpipe.
These pipes would be $1300 new, and with the work done by John, they sound better than they did originally and now have a maintenance free bag.
I would like $800 which is less than my total investment, I will consider trade offers for EB Bb or G irish flutes, or Bb smallpipes which are mouthblown
