SOLD>Thanks!
I’ve got a Humphrey Journeyman Whistle in D that I’d like to sell.
These are $95 + Shipping new and usually a 3 month wait or so.
I’ll let this one go for $80 including shipping.
It’s actually a VERY good whistle, but after comparing it to my old non-Stealthy brass Humphrey I’ve decided I like my old one better.
However, the Journeyman model does have a lot of great qualities:
-
oxx ooo fingering for C-natural is in tune
(it’s not on the old brass ones, but I’ve decided I can live with this) -
tone is very nice
(the old brass one is a bit rougher sounding) -
it’s a very solid feeling whistle (thick aluminum tube)
The highest few notes of the 2nd octave (high A/B) sound good on the Journeyman but the lowest notes (low E/D) are a bit weaker than on my old brass one. However, the Journeyman still has very good balance compared to most whistles (the old brass one is perfect, which is why I’m sticking with it).
