trying to be a bit more disciplined about getting around to passing on instruments that I’m not playing regularly (or told myself i’d sell when i bought a new one)—never thought of myself as a collector, but I do seem to have trouble parting with them…
So here is a very fine and handsome (in my view) set of Scottish smallpipes in A by David and Hamish Moore. These are of Permali, which Finn tells me David was a great proponent of, and are in really top condition, playing with an H+A reed (Herriot and Allan I presume) marked 1988!!! I have rethreaded slides and tenons for sale.

I’ve a couple of bellows I’ll be putting up, one of which would suit this set well.
