The flute has been sold - thanks for interest
A John Gallagher 6-key Pratten model. John made this for me in July of 2004. I had him also build an extra barrel with a keyless Eb section. So this is pretty much 2 flutes in one. The reason for selling is that I wanted the keys, but find I don’t use them much. I was playing the flute last night and was reminded that it’s pretty good. A great tone with some growl.

I have no idea what John’s waiting list is nowdays. I bought the six key for $2800 and paid an extra $500 for the Eb section and barrel. I’m willing to see it go to a good home for $2700 for everything.
