Number 2285, approx 7 years old. Rarely played, excellent condition. Spent most of its life in my closet. No case included. $250, CONUS only. You know you’ve always wanted one, and this is everything you’ve heard they are! PM for details/questions. Thanks for looking.
So that this isn’t a totally shameless bump: gang, this is a top of the line whistle and in excellent condition. Every serious whistler should have a Copeland sometime in their life just so you can tell the grandkids “I once owned this incredible whistle…”
This group has got to be the most informative to an absolute newcomer to whistles like me but also the most literate and humorous that I’ve ever stumbled into. Perhaps that says something about my sense of humor but I am spending more time reading this part of the internet than may be good for my alleged real life relations.
Mahalo,
Sandy
Next thing you know she’ll be trying to convince somebody that loves her that she needs a Copeland. It’s a vicious cycle. I’ve seen it time and time again.
Never played any Copeland. I only saw some photos on the net and said to myself : wow, it looks superb ! This is the kind of whistle that should gives you pleasure only by looking at it and feeling it in your hands.
Yes, the Copeland is a world-class instrument, one of the most famous. I’m very surprised it has not sold yet. I’m thinking of taking it off the for sale list and just keep it for the rest of my life.
i have a copeland brass, i consider it a Clarke pro, it is a good whistle as far as whistles go -----------i would not say it is the best or the cream of the crop -----i personally think it is overpriced----------but i love the way it looks , that is what caught me -------------i would get the nickel at this price --------------if i needed a copeland -----------this price only comes around once a year at the most------------if i had extra money it would be mine
