Hi guys/girls

I have a lovely brass Copeland high D for sale here. I bought it in 2006, and it has no serial number. I’ve just finished polishing it, it looks lovely. I have pics and will email them to anyone who’s interested.

This whistle was used to record “Set of Jigs” and “Set of Reels” on my cd ‘Islands on the Moon’ - CDTRAX307, soundclips of which can be heard at

It’s not a hugely significant back-story, but at least you can hear the whistle and know that it’s sufficiently good to take into a recording studio.

I’d like to set the price at $325, or £200 plus P&P. Payment by Paypal to be negotiated individually due to their charges…

Thanks for the sound samples, the whistle sounded great, as expected.
I really enjoyed your own compositions of tunes, which was a pleasant surprise.
Will have to pass on the whistle offer, but I just order your CD instead :wink:
The whistle should be an easy seller with that kind of promotion.

Just been informed by another C&F’er that you can’t add Paypal charges without being in breach of their T&Cs. So, the whistle is now for sale for £210 or the US Dollar equivalent plus P&P but with with no additional charge for Paypal.
