Thanks for the vote of confidence Doc. Without a doubt I’d do the same for you. No better person to deal with. We’ve been trading and sharing whistles and flutes for going on about three years now.

The Burns is about three years old. I got it new at Spruce Tree Music in Madison, Wisconsin. I believe it’s the equivalent of the Ergonomic Standard although I don’t know that it was called that back then. It does have a stabilized crack at the tenon of the head joint (I think I’ve got that right). I just haven’t got around to sending it back to Casey. I should be keeping it but someone lent me a Hammy and now I’ve got FAS.

Darn! Just missed my window of opportunity. I got an M&E from the good
