I bet this is a great whistle. I used to have one in aluminum from the same year and it was superior in every way (to me) than the more modern black-tip models. I hate that I ever sold it (I went through a short phase where I convinced myself that it’d be snobbish to play anything that didn’t have a red, blue, or green head). This would be an instant buy for me if I had the spare $$$ right now. Or if my recent buy from chas wasn’t such a good fit for me.
