I’m selling my DVD of NPU’s Art of Uilleann Piping Vol 4. I bought it new in summer 2008 and it’s still in excellent condition. I understand that this is a Region 0 DVD. NPU’s website mentions that their DVD format may not work in older US DVD players.
Volume 4 is mainly dedicated to teaching you how to play the regulators. It explains:
- Tuning the regulators
- Holding notes, tapping on and off the beat, syncopation and double tapping
- Regulators in slow airs
The DVD includes a track of Seamus Ennis playing Pat Ward’s Jig. Also included is a 32 page tutor manual with 11 tunes and regulator accompaniment.
