Free Tin Whistle Workshop with Bill Ochs, NYC, 3/9/03

Dear Friends,

I will teach my last full-scale tin whistle workshop of the season on Sunday, March 9 at The Irish Arts Center, 553 W. 51st Street between 10th and 11th Avenues in Manhattan.

The workshop is divided into three sections: Absolute Beginners (Starting from Scratch), 2:00 to 3:00 PM; Advanced Beginners (Playing Simple Dance Tunes), 3:00 to 4:00 PM; and Intermediate (Intro to Ornamentation), 4:00 to 5:00 PM.

I have your book and CD. They’re great! I’ve always wanted to go to a tinwhistle workshop. I don’t feel cheated because your holding one in NYC. I hope it’s very successful. Your certainly have my respect and best wishes. Sorry if I started something, I didn’t mean to.
