For trade: Susato VSBs for Susato SBs (SOLD, 4/10/06)

(Sold – 04/10/06) To those of you who are out there moaning about how your Susato Small Bores are too loud and hard to play and sound like recorders – Have I got a deal for you. I have two Susato VSB very small bore series “V” soprano D whistles (one black tunable Kildare and one ivory non-tunable Dublin) that I would like to trade for two SB small bore series “S” soprano Ds (one tunable Kildare and one non-tunable Dublin).

Terms are even-up, whistle-only (Kildare for Kildare, Dublin for Dublin, or both for both). I don’t see any reason for us to ship the pouches and cork grease back and forth since we both have them already, and we’ll each pay our own shipping (U.S. only because I don’t want to deal with international shipping).

And here’s the beauty part – I still have the thumbrests. Yes, I know I’ve said before that I throw these away, but apparently I actually tossed them in the bottom of the pouch on the whistle bag, because I found them when I was looking for cork grease.

Information on Dublins here; information on Kildares here. And you’ll find lots of information here if you search on “Susato VSB”.

I would also consider trading both of these for an engraved SB small bore series “S” tunable Kildare soprano D as long as you haven’t had your name or initials engraved on the back and as long as the main engraving isn’t that crappy cat or the silly looking bird man.

PM me if you are interested., and thank you all for your continued support.

(SOLD – 4/10/06) OK – since there doesn’t seem to be anyone out there thinking to themselves “Boy, these small bore Susato whistles I have suck like recorders. I sure wish I had a very small bore, or maybe even a couple of them,” does anyone want to buy these fine whistles?

15 bucks for the non-tunable Dublin; 30 bucks for the tunable Kildare, and I’ll pay shipping in the U.S.

40 bucks for both.

I’ll even find the pouch and cork grease that came with the Kildare. (The Dublin only came with a fingering chart, and I figure you all know that by now.)

Trades are, or course, still considered.
