I actually sell my 6 keyed D flute in mopani, made by Stepf. Morvan one year ago. I sell it because I have now exactly the same flute in cocus wood.
The price for a 6 keyed D flute in mopan is actually 3060€ (2910+150€ for mopan) and a minimum of 1 year of waiting time. I sell it for 2900€.

It’s Stephane’s last model. It’s a “mix” between the rudall&rose model and Boozey model. When Stephane began few years ago to make flutes, his model was clearly based on rudall model (with two part for the body section), and then he made a new model clearly based on Boozey model, more powerfull, but which requested more breath, and he actually make this model, his third, which is a mix betwenn a “rudall” and a “Boozey”.
So that we can have the advantages of each model on the same flute (the powerfull of the Boozey and the “roudness” of the Rudall, and this flute doesn’t request more breath than a rudall). This is what I really like on this model. The sound is both mellow, smooth and powerfull (but not so “agressiv” than Boozey). I rather should say “dynamic” or “energic” instead of powerfull because it’s not just a volume story, it more subtle).
