I have two more high end whistles that are ready for new homes, new hands to play them.
The O’Riordan is a C. It’s got a black headjoint and the body is some kind of orange/black striped exotic wood–rosewood, maybe paduk. In top condition, barely played.
The Copeland is a G. It’s brass, also in top condition and almost new. It does have an extra hole that Michael put in–a C natural–which is a plus if you like that addition. If you don’t, all you need to do is cover it with your thumb and it becomes irrelevent.
I do have pictures of these instruments, and either some kind person will, again, help me to post them or I’ll be glad to email you the pictures upon request. I’m considering selling both of them for the best offer, so please let me know what that would be. Thanks!
I’ve had a request for more info about the whistles…
All three (Wooden C O’Riordan, Metal G O’Riordan, and Brass G Copeland) are all tuneable. I bought them about 6-7 years ago from their respective makers.
Was that 3 whistles? Only saw 2 up top. Anyway, I hadn’t realized anyone else also had my 2 favorite G whistles on the planet - Copeland and O’Riordan Traveler (if it is indeed the anodized Traveler series). Best of luck with the sales.
