Hi all - after much thought I’ve decided to sell my John Sindt D whistle in brass on Ebay. Here is a link to the item on Ebay:

Here’s the item description from Ebay:
For sale is my John Sindt high D whistle in brass. It is in excellent condition with no dents or dings anywhere (though the inevitable minor scratches from use are present).
I’ve also included an extra brass tube in ‘standard’ tuning. Those of you in the know will be aware that John believes the C natural should be achieved by half holing, and makes his whistles accordingly. For some of us that presents a problem, so I had the idea of rubbing down a brass tube from a standard whistle until it fit perfectly (it took over an hour with emery paper!). So here you have the best of both worlds - half hole if you want with the original tube or swap tubes and use the cross fingering method!
I haven’t cleaned the whistle with brasso or anything like that, as I rather like the patina that builds up. However, it would be a very quick job if you want to do it.
