I borrowed this from his website: “This is a new updated version of our popular low D Aluminum Pro whistle, featuring a completely redesigned “Viper” headpiece that has a black Delrin Tip for player comfort and lower air requirements at the same time it produces a stronger note and clearer tone than ever before. It has the same natural aluminum finish and the same sized tubes, but features a new lower bore that features a rotating bottom joint between the F# and E tone holes. This bottom tone hole can be rotated to the side slightly, allowing persons with smaller hands to play the Pro whistle that may have difficulty otherwise reaching the bottom tone hole. It also features slightly smaller tone holes in all but the critical bottom tone hole, making this the most accessible no compromise low D we offer. Sound volume is similar to the low D Aluminum Pro, but the lower octave is somewhat more robust and the second octave is sweet and very accessible. We believe that this whistle will set a new standard for low Ds”
