Having finally given in and bought a lathe - a pretty simple one for now, for other purposes (carving tool handles i.a.) - the thoughts turn naturally to trying to make a basic flute. I saw Terry’s flute plans on his website and I may buy them. He also (on the web site) recommended a flutemakers mailing list/yahoo group. But Yahoo groups are being killed as of mid December - is there a successor planned for this group, and will it include the back-archive?
Thanks for any help in advance - I am off to reread the reamers thread with a bit more idea about what is being talked about…

Everything from the 1st message until last week when I made the archive,
including all the photos, files, etc. A very small number of attachments
failed to download (around 15-20) - the errors were all “content not
found” related from the Yahoo servers.
Feel free to browse the archive or download from my Box.com folders here
I also have most of the messages as Group Digests in the Mozilla Thunderbird client, from 2000-2019. Capable of being archived, transferred to any other Thunderbird client, indexed & searchable within Thunderbird. However, no pictures or attachments (such as Excel spreadsheets, etc.) as may appear in Tim’s archive.
