One year ago we laid a dear friend of mine to rest. This Sunday a group of his friends put a tune book out in his memory and honor.

I find a few things ironic…Eddie never read music at all (where have I heard that before?) and some of the sets and tunes that people would say ‘Eddie loved’ weren’t particularly his favorites. But he’d know that someone in the session liked them, or was trying to learn them, and he always made a point of playing them for that reason.
