I was over at Paul Groff’s place yesterday. For those who don’t know Paul, he’s superb concertina player. He’s also one of the worlds best concertina tuners. He’s also a fine flute player. He tweaked many a average flute and has turned them into great instruments.
During my visit, he broke out a couple of Eb Sweathearts that he’d worked on. If spending big $'s is something that is not in your budget, but you still want to play in Eb, these flutes REALLY play well and sound great. They are not your typical Sweatheart by any stretch. One is in cherry and the other in rosewood. You’ll have to contact Paul for the cost. Both come with a soft case.
