None of my co-workers cared. In fact - some of them laughed at me.
So I’ll tell someone who cares.
I received three whistles in the mail today! My first impressions (I can’t really play them in the office much) 2 are incredible and 1 is plain old terrific.
Incredible:
Thin Weasel Soprano D - African Blackwood and Stainless Steel
Serpent MolyBrass Alto F - Chrome Molybdenum Steel with a Brass tuning slide
Plain Old Terrific:
Water Weasel Alto G - Poly tunable
I feel very blessed to have been able to give two more of Glenn’s whistles a home, with Bree’s help.
I am also pleased to have been the crazy guy to ask Bill if he could make a special Chrome Molybdenum version of his PolyBrass Low whistle.
I’ll post pics and reviews in a couple weeks when I’m not so freekin busy.
I don’t usually have money to buy a whistle like this. I had a hiring bonus come in while the opportunity existed. I figured I should sieze the moment before it passed.
If I worked with you I would love to hear them and perhaps try them out as well. I’m sure nobody in my office would be in the slightest bit interested either. I keep my whistles well hidden in the workplace (if I am going to friends to play straight from the office) I bet you can’t wait to get home.
Thank you for sharing your excitement of receiving some great whistles.
If the pepole in your office can’t appreciate that then replace them with us. Then with coffee breaks we could go in whistle session breaks. Put C&h on a big screen and we could keep up with it always.
Looking forward to seeing pictures and reviews.
I am happy for you.
