Happy New Year fellow Chiff and Fipplers, here’s a link to a short TV clip of a new trio called “The Teetotalers” featuring Myself, Martin Hayes and John Doyle. We’ll be doing some gigs in the U.S. In May and I’ll post details at a later date. Really looking forward to hitting the road with these guys so hopefully catch you somewhere.

Hi Kevin, thanks for the update. Enjoyed chatting here in San Diego last October (and encouraging you to post here).
That’s quite a power trio you’ve assembled. You guys should be touring with Cream or Led Zep.
Cheers!
Very nice. Sound and video.
In the second tune, how does the violinist make that anchor not squawk? Is it a 2 string thing?
Come north too, Crawford,
come north too…let’s say Toronto or Ottawa, Canada! You survived your last visit.
Paul
Thanks Kevin, just brilliant, smooth and pure. Great tunes… gonna get me those now!
Come back out to L.A. soon!

Will someone name the jigs in the first set? Thanks
Brilliant stuff. Thank you! I sincerely hope there will be a CD on the way soon.
Might be hard to catch, but the presenter actually announces them at the beginning:
The Green Fields of Woodford http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display/4070
Sean Ryan’s (The Castle Jig) http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display/273
Seán Ryan’s (The Nightingale) http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display/1868
Kevin, that’s lovely, magical stuff.
Will you three be coming around to Connecticut?
Best wishes,
Jerry
Hi Jerry,
Definitely playing in Connecticut in May. I’m pretty sure it’s back in West Hartford where you saw Lunasa last year.
Hope your keeping well.
Kev
Hi Chris, we’re hoping to get in to the studio after our stint around the States in May.
In the meantime I’ve just finished a new solo CD with John Doyle which will be available in a couple of weeks time.
It’s called “Carrying the Tune” and features 14 tracks of mainly Eb flute and C flute sets mixed with various whistle bits too.
Glad you like the Teetotalers,
Cheers,
Kev
Love the clip Kevin, you guys are mighty ! Would be great to you lads up north, looking forward to your new solo album for sure.
Brendan
This is great news. My girls will be delighted to see you again. I’m also hoping to get away by myself in March to see you with Lunasa in Falmouth. You’re a busy man!
Yes, all’s well here.
Best wishes,
Jerry
Yay! thanks for posting; i almost missed this…
Wow Kevin, great news, both on the new album with John and the upcoming album with you, John and Martin together. I’m still totally in love with your album together with Cillian. I told you then that it was an instant classic and I meant it.
Enjoyed the tunes on Joan’s radio show this week too
I’ll be away from Connecticut one weekend in May, so I’ll be hoping the show isn’t then! fingers crossed
And I’ll be looking forward to both the Kevin and John CD and the eventual Teetotalers one.
Kevin, when do you expect the one with you and Mr. Doyle to be available?
I have the CD for sale at the Teetotallers concerts at the minute but will get around to sorting out web sales and distribution next week when I get home. I will post the information on C&F when it’s all sorted. Thanks for enquiring, Kev
Is there a tour itinerary posted anywhere?
Best wishes.
Steve
I’ll promised to post it on my site when it’s available; Mr. Crawford said he’ll have it by the end of the month ![]()
