First of all I want to thank all the good folks of C&F for their great support since I got inspired to create OzWhistles 6 months ago. The C&F community continues to be the greatest resource for whistlers world-wide - doubly great for noobs like me.
It’s been a cracker of a month since my last CP - OzWhistles is still growing strongly with new customers everyday from Oz and around the world. On top of this I’ve been working day and night to improve my offering and open-up new services for whistlers.
A quick word on emails - I answer all my emails within a few hours, but I have heard of some going astray, If I don’t reply it’s because it didn’t get through - try a PM or my alternate email - mitch_smith at optusnet dot com dot au.

Its Festival time again in Oz!
I’ve built a travelling showroom and you can find me and all the whistles in my little black marquee at the following events: Oh (just got reminded) - and, yes, the stick will be there too:
Sunday 3rd September: Leura first sunday community market (starting small)
Fri-Sun 8-10 Sept: Kangaroo Valley folk festival (NSW).
Fri-Sun 15-17 Sept: Gundagai Turning Wave festival (NSW).
Sun 1st October: Leura market again.
Fri-Sun 6-8 Oct: Coastfest Gosford (NSW).
Fri-Sun 27-29 Oct: Dorrigo Folk and Bluegrass festival (NSW)
Sun 5th November: Leura again.
Fri-Sun 10-12 November: Music at the Creek - Major’s Creek (NSW).
And from there it’s up to 3 per month until next May - some in other states - I’ll post an update next month.
New website soon!
My new website should be up-and-running in a few days (or so … …). It should all look pretty much the same but there will be a standard shopping basket thingy. This turned into the usual magnum opus you get with anything concerning computers.

These have not materialised as quickly as i’d hoped - but progress is being made and more clips will show-up over time.
Academy of Whistle.
The whistle school is getting bedded-down now with the final touches going into the curriculum. Planned launch is Sept 11 with classes starting October 2. Enquiries are welcome.

The new Low D SYN from Erle Bartlett!
SYN born and bred in a velvety red anodize. There’ll be a Black one soon as well. I have a couple of sound clips up already, but will probably do some new ones in the goodness of time - the Low D Syn is it’s own animal and will find it’s own place. I look forward to seeing the reports and reviews.

These are waaay nice. Limited supply in Low D, Eb, F and G. And a nice extra C body for the D.
Trade inquiries - well, I got so damn many whistles, I’m happy to sell some to shops etc. Can do good stuff for any volume purchase as well.
