CP from Thornton Whistles.

Hello all,

I haven’t been here much over the last while so I hope you are all well and playing fine music.

I though I’d let you know that I’ll be opening the Thornton Whistle store again very soon.

I will have the store up and running on, or maybe before, monday May 31st offering D, C and E flat whistles.

There will be a short term special price of $90 with free shipping within the USA and $5 for international shipping.
This price is a bit less that in the past but it will only be short term.

From June 20th the new price will be $100 with $5 shipping within the US and $10 for international shipping.
I know it’s a bit of a jump in price but I’ve tried to keep the prices as affordable as possible while dealing with the rising costs of materials.

And, I might add that the Thornton Whistle store will probably close again shortly after that.
I’ll be away on tour again from early July till early September so I’ll only keep the store open if I have a stock of finished instruments.

And to remind you of my whistles, Phil Hardy, maker of the fine Kerry and Chieftain whistles, reviewed my D whistles and said some very nice things about them.

Well that’s good news. You do make an awesome whistle. I’m looking forward to checking out the site.

Heya TOmmy!

Great to see ya getting on!!

How long’s it been?? .. years!

(Although it’s not “speak like a pirate day”) I just gotta say AAAARRRRRrrr! Keep maken them whustles!

Then standin at the lathe (so my agientio keeps saying) “erm .. will I spend another 3 hours gettin this one right?”

..
He always does .. then he subtracts the tax (c’n figure out a lurk later) and adds the cost of “could I really be bothered” - to which he always replies to himself “Yes damn!!!” and then figures down an average between his true child and the children who buy his whistles .. averages that agian, puts the tax guy further into the background and goes on to enjoying making the whislte .. which explains why my career is not infinitely larger .. you wannna adopt a stick?

BTW - keep making those lovely numbers - they make me drool in embarrasing moments .. I kinde like that!
