Thanks for the link, Cee. Conor has a nice way with waltzes - there’s another lovely clip of him playing a different waltz on the video section of Custy’s web site.
Could it be that he’s mellowing somewhat? I have his Cooley’s House CD, and find the playing a bit too much in-yer-face for my taste. Other things I have heard recently suggest he’s developing a more laid-back style.
Conor is a lovely player but his recordings never did him justice. If I am correct, he put that waltz together himself.
