Commercial Post: Tweaked Sweetone & Mellow Dog soundclip

Tweaked Sweetone:
Home from France

Tweaked Mellow Dog:
Ar thaobh na Carraige (By the Side of the Rock)
Ar thaobh na Carraige (with reverb)

I’ve posted the tweaked Mellow Dog clips in another thread, but since the tweaked Sweetone soundclip is new, I thought it might be useful to put them side by side.

Best wishes,
Jerry

Thanks Jerry, I am sure the clips will help people hear what a great sound they have and answer a lot of their questions.

Fabulous clips! I played my untweaked Feadog D with these clips and the issue of tweaking (which I’ve been reading about, but was a bit unclear about) made more sense to me. Thanks!

That Mellow Dog is a nice sounding whistle Jerry. And you know I like Feadogs. Why do you do this to me.

Does the “Home From France” go by other names? Does anyone know where one can find the notes to this?

Great sound clips, Jerry. Whoever played those on the Mellow Dog did a very good job. And those Mellow Dogs are excellent.

My friend who recorded the soundclips tells me the tune, “Home from France” is in the book, A Dossan of Heather. Doesn’t know it by any other name.

Jerry Freeman tweaked whistles can be purchased from me, either by contacting me directly or picking up one of my eBay listings, or they can be purchased from:

www.thewhistleshop.com
www.bigwhistle.co.uk
www.whistleanddrum.com
www.elderly.com
www.larkinthemorning.com
www.irishflutestore.com

If you don’t find an online listing for a Jerry tweaked whistle you’re interested in with one of these vendors, their website will have contact information so you can call or email them. I notice that Lark in the Morning doesn’t show my whistles on their website. However, they have three retail stores on the west coast where you can try them out for yourself if you happen to be nearby.

In addition to tweaked Sweetones in D and C and tweaked Mellow Dogs in D, I have brass and nickel tweaked Generations in high G, F, Eb, D, C and Bb, tweaked Shaws in D, Eb and C and tweaked Feadogs in brass D.

Best wishes,
Jerry

Thanks for the info on the tune.

Also, the Irish Flute Store http://www.irishflutestore.com/ has Jerry Freeman Tweaked whistles:

Oops. Sorry about that.

I’ve added the IrishFluteStore listing.

Best wishes,
Jerry
