I keep finding myself listening to this set of tunes from youtube over and over: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RfFzCehLYco. Such a great style. Love the breath pulses and here its just perfect. Does anyone know anything about the man? Does he have a recording? I found little online but a recital at NPU with Sean Talty. Is he on one of the Wooden Flute Obsession cds.
He posts here sometimes, mostly on the piping forum as piobaire mor.
No, unless under an assumed name.

Thanks,
Ciaran, really nice playing if your reading this. Would like to hear more.

Funny, I wrote on his wall on youtube just a few days ago, asking if he would post some other videos. I too like his playing style very much, it is really perfect on that clip, even though I’d like it even more if there were less stops. It would be one of my favourite players otherwise…
and he can be PMed through his C&F profile:

Yes…lovely playing. Reminded me immediately of Kevin Henry’s style of playing. I like the phrasing and ‘stops.’ Part of what gives it the pulse and drive.

He is channelling Patsy Hanley. You can find a utube video
of Hanley playing Boy on the Hilltop in that style, but with
better flow.
