Bumpty bump. On a whim I earlier installed the Chrome browser on my Linux Ubuntu netbook. I wasn’t impressed with it over a year ago when I first tried it, but now after an hour of tinkering this has already taken Firefox’s place as my primary browser. I love the looks of it, and it has some very useful extensions now, including ad blockers. I’m officially sold on this as a great browser now!
i may switch off opera in the new year.
that said, the reason for me switiching browsers is erratic behavour by opera probably caused by an underlying issue with my 2 year old operating system and 5 year old computer.
adittionally, the planned ‘new laptop’ falls under ‘set of pipes’ in my list of ‘expensive things i want’
