Chris Bayley Pipemaker - No Contact

Dear all,

Has anyone made contact with Chris Bayley recently. I have been trying to contact him for some outstanding parts where he last stated that he would send to me straight after a workshop holiday Saint Chartier middle of July.

Please let me know if anyone has made contact since July and any contact number.

You mean this fella? http://www.bagpipeworld.co.uk/

Hi!

I had email contact with Chris about a month ago, he said he was very busy catching up with work and would reply in a week or two. Haven’t heard from him yet so I guess he is still busy.

If I recall correctly, he’s on this list as “Chris Bayley”. Don’t know when he last posted, but I’ve heard from him in the past month too.

I got an email from Chris last night. After ‘problems’ which I sincerely hope are on the mend, he says “I am now starting to get back in the workshop and catch up.”

I have a full set (with fully keyed chanter and some other bells) which was due from Chris in Sept.

This date has now slipped to ‘early October’ but I have all confidence in the man to deliver. Chris has stockpiled seasoned timber and by his own words says that assembling the pipes “is the quick part. The time consuming process is setting them up and getting them into correct tuning.”

‘Early October’ is only a few weeks away. I can wait a short while longer.

Hey hackwellwire, how ya doin’? Howz the tunes going?

I will bring the Bayley full set round in early October and you can have a blast on MY set this time

TML - I look forward to that. A full set though requires much more “wind”, so a tin of beans the night before is a must for the menu

My wife can’t stand beans though and also can’t stand me havin 'em :poke:
