On April 28th and 29th, the Celtic Music Club, UWM’s Center for Celtic Studies, UWM’s Student Association, and the Irish Fest Foundation will be co-sponsoring Ceol Cois Locha (Music By the Lake), a weekend of Irish traditional music concerts and workshops at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. The weekend will feature four internationally acclaimed musicians.
Scheduled to appear and teach:
Shannon Heaton: Flute
Liz Knowles: Fiddle
Matt Heaton: Guitar
Jackie Moran: Bodhrán
Ceol Cois Locha will commence with a concert in Curtin Hall 175 on Friday, April 28th by featured performers Matt and Shannon Heaton, Liz Knowles, and Jackie Moran. Irish music workshops for flute, fiddle, guitar, and bodhran will be held throughout the day on Saturday, April 29th in the UWM Union.
Admission for the concert is $10 and the workshops will cost $35. A package deal of $50 will cover admission to the concert, workshops, and a boxed lunch on Saturday. Contact Jeff Ksiazek of the Celtic Music Club for further details: jksiazek@uwm.edu.

1:00pm to 3:00pm: Bodhran and Fiddle Afternoon Classes
Individual (morning or afternoon) classes: $20 ($10 for UWM Students)
Morning and afternoon package deal: $35 ($20 for UWM Students)
Boxed lunch: $5
