If anyone can do it, Patrick Olwell’s boy Aaron would be the one. As a kid, he built a six-hole flute out of a carrot. (Not a pan flute like in the YouTube video, a six-hole side-blown flute.) Now he’s building the real thing, wooden flutes, in his father’s shop - including a prototype eight-key flute I saw there recently. So give him a call, his contact info is the same as Patrick’s. I’m not sure how long the wait would be, though. And you might need to supply your own carrots.
