Burwell Bash 2004

I’ll be attending the Burwell Bash this year, any Chiffers going? I’ll be in the fiddle class again, but always happy to meet fellow Chiffers.

Last year I’d been playing fiddle a whole 5 weeks (for the first time since I was 13 anyway), so this year I have over ten times the fiddling experience! I survived my baptism of fire, and enjoyed it enough to want to go again.

Every year I wish I could go, and every year so far I can not, this year included. Perhaps next…

I am sooo… terribily… sad that the whistle / flute course was full already at the time I decided to come. Well, I guess there’s always next year (when I probably don’t have time :frowning:).

The Whistle/Flute class always fills fastest - and the piano accordion class usually has only five people (thank goodness).

I am going and geeting pretty excited. See you there Martin. I take it your avatar is a recent photo of you :boggle:

There is a picture of me on my home page http://www.maths.warwick.ac.uk/~bjs/

BTW anybody know how many in the whistle class this year?

Hi Brian,

whistle & flute class numbers abotut 20-24 - that’s the most that can fit in the biggest room available! Brian Finnigan is an awesome guy, and great fun!

Yes, I look EXACTLY like that at all times! See you there!

Not meaning any disrespect, but didn’t you used to be on “Adam Twelve?”
