Buffalo!!!

How, are they easier to steer?

One of the most majestic scenes in nature occurs every two hundred years when the buffalo congregate on the Great Plains to celebrate the bisontennial.

No, really! Picture it! Two hundred of them suckers in the middle of a parking lot! Gosh! :astonished:

oh, yeah, much easier!

No F’n way.

I’ve been trying to figure out what that stuff was for a few years now.

My fencing club is chock full of Poles and Russians/Ukranians… of course it is you say. Let it be known that such a high octane sport as this can be fed on cigarettes and vodka… and anything else that you can get down and take off paint with.

One of the guys had a bottle of that stuff and I had a shot or two… not much. Gave me the worse headache ever and generally overall terrible malaise.

I drink. I don’t hid the fact and they bring in many an odd thing to experiment with but I think I had a allergic reaction to the grass that was stuffed in there.

Oh… horrible.

I didn’t have any hallucinations either.

I do have a feeling its mostly methanol. :astonished:

Now I can fully avoid it.

Thank you.

Isn’t that its called …ummm …“Grass”

You should meet NoE on the Uilleann Pipe forum; he does that thing that you do with those pointy things as well. And has uproariously funny stories of Russians, vodka and fencing as well.

oooo..that can’t be a good mix… :astonished:

The story of the American Buffalo is a well-known story. They roamed where they wished for thousands of years. This wasn’t very practical to immigrants who wanted that land, so they put the American Buffalo in reserves, and now they are just another domesticated animal, good for making hamburgers and such.

Poke 'em with a stick. You’ll see.

We have Bison, and Elk too, in Wiltshire.

Buffalo
for Howard Good

We learned
didn’t we?
that buffalo
were hunted
nearly to extinction
by Western wantonness.

We have learned
haven’t we?
that they’ve come back
in herds of hundreds of thousands
on prairie ranches.

We’re required by law
aren’t we?
to believe it is so.
This is to salve
a little sore of collective guilt.

They’re not there, really,
are they?
You may drive the Dakotas,
count them up and
reckon their numbers.
But they aren’t there.

Thank you, Dale. That very much expressed what I really meant.

he does have these odd moments of genius, eh!

Now, if I were Caroluna, I’d start off with an image like this and change the T to a B and …

I got to ride a buffalo once. It was a toy one I had as a kid.

Buffalo chips
Fresh buffalo chips in the yard,
Hot steaming buffalo chips,
Build a fire with the buffalo chips,
Sail the buffalo chips into the wind,
Buffalo chips everywhere.
