I just started into whistledom last summer after seeing Robin Mark live. He did the 2 Revival in Belfast worship recordings. I spoke to Michelle Wooderson,his whistle player, after the concert. I’ve played trumpet, flute, sax, & keyboards for years and I knew those weren’t flutes or recorders she was playing. A little research brought me to Chiff & Fipple and a whole new world of wonderful folks like Mack Hoover, Gary Huphrey etc. Needless to say I have acquired a serious case of WHOA (just as I was recovering SGS -synthgearsyndrome). Thank God I have a patient wife! Anyway I said all that to explain my need to thin out the collection a bit to pay for my 1st wood flute.
