The last couple of 3 day workshops I’ve been to were a bit of a disappointment in that I didn’t learn all that much other than a couple of new tunes.
Part of the reason for this was that there was a huge variation in the level of expertise amongst the attendees, but it was also because the teacher was pretty ordinary (a great whistler, but not a great teacher).
I’d like to ask 'Fipplers if they’ve been to any really good workshops. If you have tell me what about the format of the workshop … what was taught, the approach taken, etc.
