I have a beautiful Abell High D whistle for sale. I do not play it as often as it should be played. It is in excellent condition. It was recently re-voiced by Chris and plays VERY smoothly across the octave. I used this whistle on a recording I made a few years ago. It has been very well cared for. I have one or I’d be interested. Just curious: in what direction did you have the whistle revoiced. Less chiff/breathiness, or what? Abells are known to vary in breathiness.

Hi Tony,

I sent my whistle back to Chris to strenghten the botton end (bell note) of the instrument. The whistle is now very balanced. Chris does exceptional work.

hi, I had the unfortunate expereience of losing my abell whistle and am interrested in purchasing another one. I dont have a computer at the moment but am using a friends. I’m curious how old the instrament is and if it has the old shaped mouthpiece? What about the case? I’ll check my mail again for your reply as soon as possible but be patient i dont have access everyday. Thankyou lori
