I am thinking of going to a BCC# Jimmy Shand type accordion. There are a not a lot of choices around. Baffetti has one (37 treble, 80 bass)and Fantini has the Sharino model (43 treble and 105 bass). The Fantini sells for twice as much as the Baffetti offering. Does anyone have a thought on why the Fantini is so much more costly that the Baffetti?

A few of the regulars there play BCC# and I have seen some discussion of Fantinis. IIRC they are a much higher quality instrument.
You’ll also find BCC# boxes made by Hohner and Paolo Soprani.
