ive never posted in this forum and i hate for my first post to be one that is maybe OT, but im looking to trade my kerrypro low D whistle for a flute. so if anyone had one they want to trade or if anyone needs a low whistle send me a PM.

brand new the Kerry Low D whistle is about $150.
Perhaps you ought to consider a high quality bamboo flute.

No, this is the Kerry Pro, not the Kerry, and the retail new is 150 GB Pounds, which is almost double the dollar value($281 currently).

thanks GSW…just for the record, im not trying to get a $700 flute for a $200 whistle. just looking for something cheap to experiment with. i also figured i would have to put some cash in with the trade for a decent flute.

ah, okay
always a great idea to trade into flute playing rather than dropping a bucket of cash to find out it’s not to your liking.
still, you’ll be pleased that most flutes retain their cost value, as long as they’re kept up.

i already play. i did the woodwind thing in college(sax, flute, clarinet) then bought an M & E, but sold it a few years ago. most of my time now is spent on the highland and uilleann pipes.
