I know this comes up from time to time but here’s some info about a case I got this week. It’s actually a case for a fly rod but it works very well for low whistles. When I eventually configure the inside it will hold a variety of low and high whistles.
It’s triangular in shape; 24" long inside measurement; cordura nylon covered; carrying handle; shoulder strap; zipper is lockable although I don’t know how useful that will be.
Down side: it’s a little heavier than I would prefer but it provides excellant protection. The shoulder strap is not long enough to my liking but it has two triangular shaped “rings” and I’ve attached a nice padded shoulder strap from a duffle and that problem no longer bothers and is very comfortable to carry over the shoulder.

Up to now I’ve been using a cordura nylon spotting scope case that I found in the cut out bin at Cabela’s (cost $16). I bought and cut grey foam that’s used to insulate pipes and placed inside the case. Put some whistles inside the foam and others between the foam cylinders. Stuffed other foam to bring the top of the whisles to the same heights. This setup provides good protection for my whistles up to and including my low F Overton and is very light.
