We are very happy to announce the line-up for the 2025 Gŵyl Uilleann Glanyfferi - Ferryside Uilleann Pipes Festival!
The event will be held from 16-18 May 2025 in the lovely seaside village of Glanyfferi/Ferryside in South West Wales. A full weekend of activities is planned including classes, sessions, a concert, lectures, food and hopefully fine weather again!
We will again be offfering workshops with a range of great musicians.
- Uilleann pipes at all levels with Blackie O’Connell, Peter Browne, Rita Farrell Jason Rouse and Jon Turton
- Fiddle with Siobhán Peoples
- Flute with Rita Farrell & Ceri Rhys Matthews
- Local tunes from South West Wales with Ceri Rhys Matthews
- Traditional Welsh folksongs with Julie Murphy
- Uilleann pipe maintenance with Chris Coe

- Introduction to regulator playing with Blackie O’Connell
- Slow airs with Peter Browne
- Improvisation and Variation with Blackie O’Connell
- Lecture on the music of Willie Clancy by Peter Browne (which will include listening some of Peter’s private home recordings of Willie)
- Lecture on buying uilleann pipes on the second-hand market by Jason Rouse
