I feel the Hoover low E would really please someone . It does more than I even know, has a pure,clear sweet tone, goes well into the third octive, low breath requirements, small nicely placed holes, many cross fingering possibilities for accidentals. It is a “medium” volume model but even the loudest low whistle needs a mic on stage.
Just about talked myself into keeping it, but there’s that new chanter spinnining away on the lathe and it will be needing the final money soon
