When reading this, I had an idea of replying to inquiries about my pvc flute’s performance. Rather than giving helpful suggestions, I could say, “There’s nothing wrong with the flute. You’re just playing it wrong”. Whether it’s true, or not, I don’t think that that is the most tactful response.
