Update: the whistle was shipped, received, and I was told a check would be in the mail. Approx 3 weeks later, no check. If there’s a problem, please let me know. Otherwise, I’d appreciate payment. Recent e-mails have not had any response.

Final update-- all’s well that ends well. Came home from a trip to the Berkshires to find a check waiting, along with profuse apologies for slow payment. I love whistle players!!

I think it is wonderful that you have such an honor system and recently I did the same thing, performed a service and then when it was time to collect I received this response:
Yes, once the ebay auction is over give me the amount & I will keep to my word of paying you the funds that you have requested.
I hope you have better luck in your transaction with your gentleman then I did with mine. Unfortuantely the payment I received was a good lesson in trust and honor and being from the South, trust and honor goes along way.
