Young Stars in the Rho Ophiuchi Cloud

Well I’m stumped…

so I asked the kid for ideas and this is what he came up with…

I have no frame of reference for that-- how long have we been around as a species? Millions of years, right? That would mean those stars are younger than we are. :boggle:

So-- our genus has been in existence more than a million years, and our species has been around for half a million.
WE ARE OLDER THAN THOSE STARS!!! :sunglasses:
